Ok. apparently you need twice the free space on ps4 as any content you download for it. it's to allow the file to unpack and install. now the update might only be around 600mb but the game itself is getting patched... which should be about 12.34gb at the moment.. Although the update probably is actually nowhere near 30gb the game is reserving the total file size of the game x2. if overwatch's total file size is 40gb for example you will need at least 80gb of free storage space..
