Question: q: earpods dont work properly in windows 10 ive noticed that when an aplication is running i cant plug my headphones because the sound would still go out throught the speaker, i first must plug my headphones before i open the application.. So before i installed windows 10, my apple earbuds worked fine in windows 7. now, whenever i plug them in to the laptop jack in the front, it'll say that i've plugged it in. when i go to the sound manager, the headphones don't even show up..
Hello, i have been using apple earpods for a while now and they are simply amazing for the price. i have known that the mic on them does not work when i'm using windows 7 in bootcamp.. When i plug my apple headset into my computer, it makes some very weird sounds. i've tried with two different headsets; both iphone 4 headset and iphone 5 headset. it only makes the sounds when i'm playing some sounds on the computer, so i don't think it's a loose connection or something.. Getting "special" keys on apple bluetooth keyboard to work with win 10 in drivers and hardware i have windows 10 (upgraded from win 7.1) installed on an imac on a bootcamp partition. when i was running windows 7.1, all the function keys (to control brightness, volume, music playing) worked perfectly.
